This is a rare event. Props to politicians.

• Rep. Tom Lantos (D-Calif) and Co for standing up for the people of Darfur. Inaction kills.

• Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter (R-PA) for threatening to attempt to block funding for Bushie Boy's national wiretapping program; for not being a party yes-man.

In a time when the average politician is worried about party line and re-election, moves like these are too rare.
